I love Japanese sweets and food, I love the packaging and the illustrations/design used for these sweets I received above from Japan.
Pocky is my favourite sweet in Japan, it’s basically sticks dipped in chocolate. You can buy these over in many oriental stores in England, although they mainly come from other asian countries, or you can buy the British equivalent called Mikado which is made by the same company called Glico.
I loved the packaging/idea for these Pocky products. The packaging had a picture of a dog, a panda and a frog and you can punch out these arms from the packaging to put it over your bag. This wouldn’t work over in England as all the Pocky stick’s would be stolen, but in Japan it such a good idea.
Meiji Cheese Cake sticks:
These cheese cake sticks by Meiji are not as nice as Pocky, but pretty nice. The flavour is hard to explain, but the design is really nice.
Little Biscuits:
Another product by Meiji, although I have no idea what these are called, but I love the illustration on the packaging which is so cute.
The above are a mixture of strawberry and chocolate flavoured biscuits.
Bourbon Biscuits:
Chocolate covered biscuits which taste like chocolate digestives, so nice.
