On my 11th day in Japan I left Shin-Yokohama and decided to catch the Shinkansen to Odawara with my girlfriend.
It only takes about 20 minutes by Shinkansen (bullet train) to Odawara, which was much quicker then having to carry my massive suitcase by normal trains!

After dropping my suitcase off, I visited the local mall called Dynacity.
I saw these Tonkatsu plastic moulds:

In the mall there was also a display for the rice cake making which I filmed.
Taiyaki:
As I was in Kanagawa I wanted to try Taiyaki. Taiyaki is a speciality food type of Kanagawa.
Taiyaki is usually filled with sweet bean paste, although the stall I bought it from also had an option for the Taiyaki to be filled with sweet potato.

A Fukuburo and January sale display, looked so cute:
Another Fukuburo sale, you could even win a Takoyaki machine I think! Wow
