On my last day in London we left The Britannia International Hotel which we stopped at and made our way to Piccadilly Circus before making our way back up to the North of England.
I arrived at Piccadilly and made me way to the Japan Centre to stock up on Japanese food and snacks.

I spent a while in the Japan Centre with my girlfriend and ended up walking out with too much stuff, plus a big bill for what I had bought (£98 = 12,356 JPY).
We made our way to Kings Cross station which was only a short journey away from the station.
We had some time to waste at Kings Cross, so we tried to find Platform 9¾ which is used in the Harry Potter films, but we found out that it was under maintenance so they had created this one outside to the right of the Kings Cross main entrance.
The train was delayed due to problems, but after a half hour wait got on the train and set off back on our journey home to Huddersfield.

On the journey back I ate the cute Doraemon bread which I had bought previously at the Japan Centre.
I liked the map in the train near the train doors.
The journey back up North felt like hell as they had no air conditioning with the weather at the time in June being around 30 ºC, and the only ventilation being the windows of the train. We had to get off at Wakefield Westgate station as due to the delay at Kings Cross we would miss our connecting train, so all-in-all it was one of my worst train journeys I have been on.
I enjoyed the trip to London, which I hope to visit again.
