I completely forgot about this, I had seen this before my 2nd journey to Japan where the Top Gear team raced from Hakui-Shi to see a giant buddha half-way up Mount Nokogiri. One presenter drove a Nissan GT-R, whilst the other two presenters travelled using Japanese public transport.
I love the way they tried to ask the locals where the train station is using sounds and expressions. You can view the 2nd part here.
