If your living in the UK, then you won’t have been able to miss the Coca-Cola Christmas advert with the iconic trucks which has been invading the TV screens since mid-November!
As in Japan they had trucks visiting parts of the country, this time being England and the trucks are like the ones in the advert. Two trucks visited cities across the UK, trying to bring some festive magic each place they visited.
Iconic Coca-Cola Santa Claus
The iconic image of Santa Claus is also on the coke cans here, and this year is the 80th year of this iconic Santa image by Haddon Sundblom.
The image of Santa Claus by Haddon Sundblom is famous throughout the World and has helped to show the look we have of Santa Claus today.
The first advert appeared in 1931 when Coca-Cola commissioned Haddon Sundblom to create the artwork, at a price of $1,000.
Over the year’s the artwork he created developed with the addition of new characters such as, an elf named Spite Boy and a grey poodle painted black to stand out on the artwork?. Today Sundbloms version of Santa Claus is used on adverts and packaging for Coca-Cola at this time of year. For more information, checkout Coca-Cola’s Christmas History.
On the 9th of December 2011 Coca-Cola broadcasted a new Christmas advert with Santa shaking a snow globe, and with the soundtrack being by Natasha Bedingfield.
Coca-Cola UK also updated the website with info about the Coca-Cola truck and a Snow Globe?!?

I clicked on the snow globe and created this little Christmas animation
. Love the animation behind, although my dancer changes from male to female..either way, I think my character looks good
.
You can create your own snow globe animation and view my Snow globe character here.
