London Christmas Illuminations 2012

London has some really nice illuminations this year, so I thought I would do a little post about what I had seen this year in London
.
As this year is the 50th anniversary for the Rolling Stones, I noticed these cool decorations?, above along Carnaby Street.
Covent Garden

In Covent Garden they had a giant reindeer with a scarf around it’s neck by Lyle & Scott, a Christmas Tree and these giant baubles along the indoor market bit.

St Pancras Intl

Christmas is Golden at St Pancras Intl.
Regent Street

I liked these Twelve Days of Christmas along Regent Street in London

Liberty & Carnaby Street

Liberty in London looked really nice with the subtle lights along the front of the Tudor style building.

and as you can see, the lights along Carnaby Street lookd impressive…Carnaby Christmas, It’s only Rock ‘n Roll
Oxford Street

Along Oxford Street that had a mixture of lights, stars and Christmas messages sponsored by Marmite.

I liked the cute display at Selfridges & Co, with the cute corgis in Christmas hats
.

and the lights around the windows.

Part of a display on Oxford Street, with the Marmite bottle in the background.

The lights make London look prettier, but I preferred the lights and decorations on Regent Street and decorations in Covent Garden.
