Snow Day’s in England
The UK got hit by a load of snow over the past few weeks, and I was surprised by so much.
I hadn’t seen as much snow during my 19 year’s of living in England, but it still doesn’t compare to the rest of the Europe and some places around the world.
The best thing about the snow, would have to be the amazing picturesque views.
I took pictures of the snow here over Huddersfield and in London during my journey’s.
The snow started off lighter during the week of the 16th, but the views still looked beautiful around my area of Huddersfield, England.
Light snow with Emley Moor in the distance
I then made my way to London on the 17th, where it had snowed a bit. I made my way to Sloane Square to meet this Polar Bear sculpture called “Boris”.
with the help of my gf, we made this cute Snow Bear!
By the time I left London, the snow on the pavements was mainly slush (wet snow), although the travel back was picturesque, it did effect the transport. When I finally got back to Huddersfield, the snow didn’t look so bad..
until I saw the beautiful park next to the Parish Church, locally named “Pigeon Park”.
When I got home I was dropped off by the bus in just over a foot of snow!
The following day I went for a walk around where I currently live in Huddersfield and this is what I saw below…
Horse’s and Donkey’s
A couple enjoying the views
and then on my way back home.

I love it when it snows, but only when it doesn’t stop me going anywhere.
